Commuter allowance tax return?

Hello everyone,

I hope to get an answer to my question here regarding the commuter allowance.

My employment contract lists our main office (called Sample Location 1). This would be my primary place of work for my tax return.

However, I also have many other locations every week (sample locations 2,3,4,5).
How should this be treated in terms of taxes?

Are trips to sample location 1 normal trips and trips to sample locations 2, 3, 4, etc. to be declared as business trips, or is sample location 2, 3, 4 also the first place of work?

Likewise, if I travel to my first place of work, I can only claim the one-way mileage. For sample locations 2, 3, and 4, can I claim the outward and return journey, or just the one-way mileage?

For Outward activities (Musterorte 2, 3, 4) km back and back + additional catering expenses of 14 € per day, if you are absent more than 8 hours from first place of activity and from home. (max. 3 months at the same establishment) – after settlement (4 weeks) you can take another 3 months; Driving times count.

Simple answer: if you not over 1200€ total advertising costs, you can save all the extra work… 😉

Otherwise, the following applies in 2021:

Just because I can’t picture everything with Elster and Co, I’ll get the forms. This is where I have the possibility to add extras. As long as there is this option, I’ll use it. After that, it will look really dark for us.
