Pegasus hacker program?

Hi guys,

I received an email from my iCloud mail that a hacker managed to get into my phone with the Pegasus program.
He said I had 48 hours to open the email and that I should send over a sum of €1,800.

I allegedly clicked on a link that was a scam.

The hacker says he has recorded everything about my lifestyle over time and enough videos of me “jerk off”.

The hacker said that if I went to the police or told anyone in general, the hacker would know immediately and would send it directly to every one of my contacts.

Please help me. I'm so panicked right now because I checked the website "haveibeenpwnd" to see if I'd been hacked and it said 2. Please, what should I do?

Should I ignore it?

I'm not even 18.

Pegasus is a commercial state spyware, the only reason this is mentioned is because it was in the news. It doesn’t use a normal criminal.

These texts are easy to make you afraid, usually not spyware on the device.

Maximum a valid password; the mails are sometimes available with a password what you used. These are the hibp hits. Actual passwords you should not use anymore.

Ancient fraud. Delete and continue to live :=) Such mails actually come about because your mail address or one of your accounts you have were once affected by a data leak. As long as you’ve changed your passwords, everything’s good. If not, hopp hopp ^-^

  1. Pegasus does not work with Phirshing Links, but with 0 day exploits that do not require user interaction (e.g., click on a link)
  2. Someone who has enough money to buy/ rent Pegasus software (a way it was sold, whether per hack or just for a period of time, but I’m going out from a price per hack) would require much more than 1800€

Don’t worry. My old email was then also affected by a data leak and after that I got 100 such emails daily.

laugh and ignore the email. Don’t be so naive.
