PC uses WLAN instead of Ethernet?
Hi,
I have a computer and usually use a LAN cable connected to a Wi-Fi extender because the internet in my room is really poor. For about four days now, my PC has only been connecting to the Wi-Fi and not to the plugged-in LAN cable. I've tried the usual things: changing the cable, plugging and unplugging the extender, reconnecting, updating Windows, etc.
I'm a bit stuck because I can't really play anymore as I'm currently only getting about 1-3 Mbit/s.
I hope you can help me!

Turn WLan off Plug the Lan Cable into the PC Boats new.
If more possibilities were used to get to the internet then you have to separate all connections that you want to be NOT connected.
Does not work
Check whether your Lan connection also has the appropriate driver,if not, this does not matter.
I would recommend you to disable the Wifi adapter in Windows if you don’t need it. You can do in the network settings. Then you can reboot and test if you still have the internet. If you have the Internet without activating Wifi adapter, you are connected by LAN.
I’ll try
Does not work
So you have garkein Internet more I suppose? Then you should reinstall the drivers of your Ethernet adapter.
Run the WLAN function under Windows.

You can stop it under Windows.
In the settings you can connect “automatically when in range”.
If you want to have it as it was you need to delete the Wlan address from the router in the PC.
But you should realize that is a repeater of the bottleneck of the Wlan transmission. Just when as with many as alleged Wlan amplifier, too close to the router (either German routers have a wlan shortening, nor strengthen Repeater the Wlan, they should expand it).
Wlan hates Wlan
Since then a Lan cable is connected from the repeater to the PC, it is completely senseless.
What is correct and sensible is to pull the Lan cable from the router to the repeater. The variant is an access point. the second most behind a Pur Lane connection. Both devices are connected by cable and don’t beat up constantly.
And he has to solve the wlan problem on his pc. The antennas are probably not screwed to the wlan adapter.
This is simply because I am both 1 floor above the router and because there are several ceiling/walls between
With amplifiers I meant the rich 😉
Nevertheless, there is something wrong when the wlan adapter has so much worse wlan reception than the repeater.
