PC starts normally but no connection to monitor, keyboard and mouse?

Hey, I have a problem. I wanted to replace the CPU cooler in my gaming PC, but it didn't fit, so I put the old one back in. Now I'm having the problem that the PC starts up normally. All the fans, etc., are working normally and the lights are on, but there's no connection to my monitor, mouse, or keyboard. What could be causing this?

Thanks in advance 🙂

Again the typical false assumption.

Booting is a process. If errors occur during this process, the system remains in the current state until the error is eliminated or the system is switched off.

Your PC is starting not normal. That’s why you don’t get a video signal and your input devices won’t turn on.

Also, internal peripheral devices such as fan or lighting are not an indicator of the state of your system. These operate independently of the rest of the system and only require a functioning power supply by the power supply to operate. I can also turn on a fan or a few LEDs without installing them in a system at all. They just need electricity.

You just got a little damaged or at least made the system incapable due to your Rumbastelei.
