PC sometimes makes BIOS errors 5 beeps?
I've now also replaced the motherboard. The CPU, GPU, and RAM passed OCC without any problems. Currently, I have an MSI X570 A-Pro, an R7 5800X3D, an ARC A770 16GB, and a 32GB Corsair 3200MHz.
The problem occurred again today, the PC sometimes/rarely doesn't start with the error code 5 beeps.
So sending it to someone like Fix My PC is pointless, since the problem probably won't occur there.
Friends on Discord said the 5 beeps are supposed to be an MSI CPU. Should I try to replace it under warranty? It's less than a year old.
5 times beep in an AMD board means processor error. The CPU does not have to be broken.
Make a BIOS Reset. To do this, you take the button cell (BIOS battery) for a few minutes. Then you can also bridge the plus and minus poles of the "battery compartment" by means of a screwdriver.
Important! The PC must not be connected to the power grid! And turn the switch at the back of the power supply to 0. And then briefly press the power button of the PC to get rid of residual voltage!
And see if the EPS plug is right. This is the power connection at the top left of the mainboard. Here the CPU is supplied with power from the power supply.
In itself the motherboard has already been an exchange, as well as BIOS has been upgraded
