Replace BS is usually enough.

The operating system… you don’t buy a new car, just because the trunk is full, do you? Once finished.

Did you install Windows on a HDD? If so, it might be.

Or you have a lot of software that starts with the car start.

Just try to display the software with the Task Manager under the “Autostart” tab, which has a high “status effect”.

For illustration:

You shouldn’t disable any software that is from Microsoft, as it might otherwise come to problems.

If you want to buy new hardware to make booting faster, an SSD is the most useful if you have an HDD installed. If you have already installed an SSD, make sure that it still has at least 20% free space, otherwise the performance of many SSD’s will collapse.

What do you even have for a PC (hardware) and what kind of operating system?

You really underestimate how big the difference between a HDD and SSD is.

Check which software automatically starts and make sure that unnecessary software is removed.
You can also read into the use of msconfig.
