The olle box will only be able to provide SATA connectors with an adapter placed in a PCI slot (white).

Here is a link to such Enlargement map

Another question is whether this is worthwhile, because the computer a) with the data quantities would hardly be sufficient or b) as it looks with the operating system whether it also supports the model.

If this computer is actually still in operation and does not plan a new acquisition of larger stores / a basic upgrade, I recommend taking a look at Ebay or other providers to get an overview of IDE boards.

PS: Even for around the 50-60€ you can find today ‘older’ upgrade kits with board, CPU & RAM, which already offer SATA and are certainly much more powerful. That would be -mMn.- the far better/sensual option.

It’s “Uralt”, there’s no current Windows on it. What are you doing?

It has IDE and you can connect external hard drives via USB. There are converters that make IDE SATA for modern SSDs.

IDE is quite slow, however, the full speed of an SSD can You don’t even get close. This converter is designed for “retro computing”, i.e. to equip a properly old PC with a new hard drive, so if you want to play like in the 1990s or early 2000s.

For under €300 You’re a PC that’s better around worlds than that thing. The upgrade is therefore only worthwhile in exceptional cases.

You can only retrofit with a PCI card, which I would not personally do with IDE on a PC and would like to see an overall upgrade.

This must be connected by IDE. The computer is already very old.
