PC has multiple microphones (all are recognized), but only one works?

Hello dear community,

I have a problem where I want to connect multiple microphones to my computer. All of them are recognized, and no errors are displayed (all drivers are up to date). I can see all the microphones in the sound settings, and the volume should actually be fluctuating for each microphone, but this is only the case for one, and the selected microphone is always random; it's a different one after every restart. I also know that it works. I always had an external microphone and my headset microphone on my old PC; both worked at the same time, and I want that to happen now, too.

Thank you!

Usually, Win can only activate 1 micro if necessary stereo. There would have to be external mixers in between that brings the microphones together
