PC won't boot after installing my m.2 hard drive?

I recently bought and installed an M.2 hard drive. I wanted to start my PC normally. It boots up, doesn't display a picture, and then shuts down again. I've already tried removing the hard drive and starting it up again, but that doesn't work either. What should I do?

Hi.

When you install a m2, connections from the SATA are used. In the motherboard user manual, see if you had your previous studs on a free connection.

Then it could be that you didn’t have the m2 properly installed and have something short-circuited on the board. Then you would have created a defect. There are videos of how to use a m2 correctly.

But take it easy!

Cables check that nothing is loose.

If you had the Graka outside to install the m2 check that it’s right.

Then go to the BIOS, see if the old plate is detected, check the boot order. If everything goes again, try again.

Much success and write a feedback

presumably, you haven’t properly attached any cable in the part and it has become loose when installing the new hard drive.

Then I guess you broke something.

Let’s go.

First check all cable connections.

Your operating system (e.g. Windows) is stored on the old hard drive. The new one is like an empty bookcase. There your PC doesn’t find a book where he can read what he should do when driving up!

That’s what I thought. “…come back down” – that’s where faith left me.

What is the PC supposed to do? Take a break or go on holiday?

Downloading is the only option!

reinstall old hard drive; Complete backup on an external memory. And after installing the new hard drive, reinstall the PC from backup memory.

Get someone who knows it. With dangerous half-knowledge, you’re making everything worse.

I’m not the questioner. In such a case, the PC would NOT shut down. I can assure you. The only thing that would happen would be a black screen with white writing. How to see here: comment image

He’s not going down right now.
