PC boot problem?
Hi everyone, I've recently been having a problem where my hard drive (secondary HDD) is no longer recognized. I shut down my computer and tried a different SATA connector, but to no avail. I've also tried other hard drives that also spin, but as soon as I connect them, my PC boots extremely slowly. It takes about 40 seconds to even get to the BIOS selection menu. If I wait a little longer, an automatic repair process starts. I tried letting this run through, but unfortunately, it didn't progress after the third scan (it was 100%, but it wouldn't go any further). I've also tried connecting my hard drive while my computer is turned on, but that didn't work either, and Windows gradually just froze. If you have any suggestions for how to repair my hard drives or fix the error, I would be happy to open my hard drives and apply these tips. I appreciate your help and wish you a wonderful evening.
