Paypal yes or no?
Would someone please briefly explain PayPal to me? I have online banking and I'm very happy with it. However, PayPal seems to be very popular and helpful for sales and purchases, like on eBay. I just don't know if it's worth it for that, so I also read that PayPal charges fees, but I really don't understand it. Generally, I find it quite complicated, which is also why I deleted it after about five minutes.
PayPal is nothing more than a bank where you can open an account. This also has an IBAN (the Deutsche Bank) etc.
PayPal's service is now, on the one hand, that the money you send is immediately transferred to the buyer/seller. Now that the remaining banks offer real-time transfers, this is no longer the big thing, but 10 years ago it was absolutely brilliant.
And PayPal offers buyer protection in connection with eBay. That is, you buy something, and if you don't get what you ordered, or it's broken, etc. you get the money from PayPal again. And PayPal then naturally recovers from the provider. This means that online shopping is a little "narrower".
Paypal fees only apply to the seller and consist of a fixed fee + percentage share (see paypal.com)
For payment per se, an email address is sufficient, which makes the payment system so easy.
A good idea for full-year buyers.
For minors: stay away
For private sellers: stay away
PayPal is perfect for the buyer, but because of the fees and the 180-day buyer protection for sellers not recommended.

ok, but for Paypal purchase must have both Paypal?
Of course.
With Paypal you can easily pay online. Not every website offers direct debit (online banking), but Paypal is almost always available. Fees are only required if you send money directly to a single person with Paypal buyer protection (for Ebay classifieds etc) – but if you order normally on the Internet, then that is not the case
Fees will never be due to the buyer.
The seller pays for payment with buyer protection (goods service).
Without buyer protection, PayPal calls friends & family, there is no fee, and the payment form should also be used only for payment to friends and family members.
You should read and observe the Paypal terms.
Almost daily, there are questions from people who did something wrong at Paypal and then the money was gone.
