You probably want to add your bank account to PayPal.
You will then be asked for your bank account access data.
So I would never give them to PayPal.
There is also another method where PP transfers 1 cent to your checking account.

There are two ways to link your bank account.
One where you log into your bank account once directly from PayPal using your login details, the other where PayPal transfers 1 cent to your account, with a code in the subject line that you can then use to activate your PayPal account.

Everything is clearly described on PayPal. And as a high school graduate, you should be able to read.

Don't want to be like this:

It was at this point that I aborted my login attempt. I was supposed to enter my full login credentials, including my PIN. I didn't even think about it!

If your bank account is linked, you pay with PayPal, which transfers the money immediately to the merchant, and PayPal deducts the amount from your bank account 1-2 days later.

Apparently, you are expected to enter your Postbank ID, the ID you use to log in to Postbank's online banking.

Für mich sieht das eher wie ein Betrugsversuch aus.

I've been using Paypal for years, but I've never seen anything like this.
