Is there protection against fraud and liability for unauthorized transactions for an EC card, and how does this work?
Hello. I'm 17 years old and I'm doing an apprenticeship and now I need a credit card. But not a Sparkasse credit card, as they don't work everywhere. For example, for online purchases or a Spotify premium subscription. I want a Mastercard card. Can I use it at 17?
Hello, I recently ordered something via PayPal. However, I hadn't considered whether I still had enough money in my account. Now I received an email stating that my bank account needs to be sufficiently covered by December 28th, as they'll try to debit it again then. My question is, if I have the money in…
I have a Maestro debit card, but I'd like to get a MasterCard one because unfortunately, I can't pay for everything with Maestro, for example, when paying or ordering online. Do you know if I can change this when I go to the bank?
Hello everyone, Maybe some of you work at a bank and can share some insight. We have consolidated our accounts and now only plan to have one joint account. For this purpose we have current accounts at ING, Deutsche Bank and Consorsbank were commissioned to close. This was at the beginning of December. Unfortunately, the…
Hello! I bought something on Vinted. It wasn't exactly cheap, so it wasn't a part for 20€ but considerably more. That's why I paid for it with buyer protection because it's a brand (teveo) that is often used for fraudulent behavior on Vinted. Now, after more than 2 weeks, the package is still not here….
You probably want to add your bank account to PayPal.
You will then be asked for your bank account access data.
So I would never give them to PayPal.
There is also another method where PP transfers 1 cent to your checking account.
wie meinst du diese Möglichkeit?
There are two ways to link your bank account.
One where you log into your bank account once directly from PayPal using your login details, the other where PayPal transfers 1 cent to your account, with a code in the subject line that you can then use to activate your PayPal account.
Everything is clearly described on PayPal. And as a high school graduate, you should be able to read.
Don't want to be like this:

It was at this point that I aborted my login attempt. I was supposed to enter my full login credentials, including my PIN. I didn't even think about it!
Thanks. Will this work without general online banking access to my account?
If your bank account is linked, you pay with PayPal, which transfers the money immediately to the merchant, and PayPal deducts the amount from your bank account 1-2 days later.
and then I can pay normally with Paypal and it will be deducted from my bank account?
Thank you, yes, as a high school graduate, I can read. I just didn't know about this option, since they immediately ask you to hand over everything when you register.
Apparently, you are expected to enter your Postbank ID, the ID you use to log in to Postbank's online banking.
Für mich sieht das eher wie ein Betrugsversuch aus.
Wie meinst du das
I've been using Paypal for years, but I've never seen anything like this.
