PayPal direct debit desired despite PayPal balance possible?
Quick question:
I have noticed that payments due on my PayPal account, which were otherwise always debited from my bank account via SEPA direct debit, are being offset against any existing PayPal balance (which I had deposited into the account).
This means that if there is sufficient credit, payments will no longer be debited from the bank account, but PayPal credit will be offset against the corresponding invoices.
Is there any way to set/prevent this?
I would like to continue to have certain payments debited from my bank account and use my PayPal balance for special purposes.

Of course, you can set that in your account.
I prefer credit. If there's none (99.999% of the time), the payment is debited from my bank account. However, you can also set your bank account as your preferred account, and the bill will be deducted immediately.

I don't want preferential treatment!
It still doesn't work for me even if there is enough money on PayPal.
Then PayPal is consistently emptied first, which annoys me.
