I received a chargeback from Amazon for €100 because I paid for an item with my PayPal debit Mastercard. This PayPal debit card is from PayPal and is therefore linked to the PayPal account.
Can Amazon even refund money to this card? Since it's not linked to a checking account…

You can’t transfer anything from a bank account there. But the card itself can of course be paid to your Paypal account (back). Card transactions are always possible in both directions.
Naja paypal once told me you can refer to their card nix, so I have bite care
