PayPal account blocking after adding credit card?
If I have a PayPal account before 2021 and I recently turned 18 (i.e. on May 27, 2024), will my account be blocked after verification (i.e. adding my credit card)?

Hello, as the question already states, someone is logged into my Saramart account. Is there anything I can do to log them out, or does the person have to log out themselves? thanks in advance
My TikTok account was blocked today with the message "Your account has been blocked because you apparently do not meet the minimum age requirements to use TikTok." you have to be 13 and I am 17 I then took a picture with myself, my ID, and the code they gave me, but there was a…
Hello! I, a 14-year-old girl, created a fake account for my teacher a few weeks ago. No one was bullied or directly attacked. A few friends and I messaged people from other grades and classes as a joke. The account was blocked and deleted 10 days ago. Can my teacher report me? What should I…
I currently pay €8 a month, which I think is a lot – I'm happy with €5 a month.
For example, after I had completely said goodbye to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, today I came up with the absurd idea of logging back into Facebook and this time I feel totally uncomfortable on the platform itself. This cycle has been going on for me for at least 5 years. First I say goodbye to…
Hello, I downloaded Vinted today and immediately received a request. I wanted the person to pay via PayPal. After I gave them my PayPal address, I received two strange emails directly from Vinted. I'm now asked to confirm the emails. Is this a scam?
Once PayPal notices (and this happens at some point, sometimes even after years) that you have opened the account with incorrect data as a minor, it will and will remain locked. Even if you’re 18 now and prove your right identity.
My tip would be:
Remove bank account/cards and phone number from the account and then close the PayPal account. Then, with another e-mail address, open a new account with correct data, exactly as indicated on the ID including all first names and correct date of birth. Add bank account, cards, phone number again. If there is a lock, you can prove your identity and unblock the account via customer support. With your current account, this would not go because PayPal basically does not unlock any accounts that violated the terms of use.
Of course, you can also come up with this and contact customer service directly after creating the new account and simply explain the thing and identify you in advance. That would be the cleanest solution. You are far from the only one who has registered as a minor. That’s what the employees know and that’s why they don’t take their heads off.
Since you are not fully year-round at registration times and have a false identity in the account, your account can be permanently blocked at any time when you find yourself
You have to count on that.
After all, you committed a crime when you illegally registered with PayPal with a fake date of birth and pretended to be full-year, even though you are not => data falsification and identity fraud => criminal offence according to §269 StGB
Paypal’s dangerous, put your fingers away.
