Paying with PayPal via GPay (partially) not possible?
Hello,
Recently I have not been able to pay with PayPal at some shops using GPay.
There was simply no payment method available at GPay and I had to provide my credit card details.
(Which I don't like, because I like the money to be debited directly)
In some shops – when I pay with GPay – I can now choose PayPal or credit card, for example on eBay and the post office.
For some, only with a credit card.🙄.
I find GPay convenient because I don't have to use PayPal SMS verification.
Why is that?

Ev are the shops that do not accept Mastercard.
Your Paypal is creating a virtual mastercard in Google Pay.
It happens to me sometimes in shops.
With Google Wallet per NFC I’ve never had problems. Unless it can only be paid by Girocard. Then there’s no credit card anyway.
