Patches on leather jacket?
Hello,
to all who know about leather jackets or similar!
I have the following question: I want to sew a back patch onto my genuine leather jacket. But I'm worried that the stitches on my heavy-duty sewing machine with a leather sewing needle will make it easier for rain to penetrate the lining underneath.
How do I seal it properly? I was thinking of using classic Pattex. Will that work, or do I need to use something else?
Thank you very much in advance!
Your Tapat!
Asp du lsnnn either stick the patches with super glue
And otherwise you can rub the seams with leather fat
Take greased yarn or then lubricate leather fat to the seam. It would, of course, be ideal not to go through the feed, but it would have to be cut off.
