Panic attacks caused by cannabis?

Hello.

I have a huge problem:

I'm 18 years old, turning 19 in 4 days, and have been smoking weed every day for about 2 years.

The day before yesterday, I was at a colleague's house and we smoked another joint. Shortly after smoking, I suddenly felt like I was having a panic attack, but it went away after 5-10 seconds.

So I didn't think much about it.

When I was on the bus home that evening, it felt like a panic attack was coming on every five minutes, but it quickly went away before the panic attack actually started.

Yesterday when I woke up, I felt really strange. You know that feeling when you stare at something and "dream"? I have that feeling even though I'm actually perfectly sane.

However, this does not feel like a derealization.

Yesterday around 7 p.m. I had another panic attack, but this time it took over and I was in extreme panic for 20 minutes.

Every now and then I get the feeling as if I'm having one, usually because I'm very afraid that this "dream-like" state will last forever and so I get really worked up about it.

Today I woke up and I still feel so strange and I even noticed a small panic attack coming on, but it didn't go through and I was able to calm myself down early.

It is extremely tiring and gets on my nerves.

In any case, this is a situation that I absolutely do not want to be in. I feel extremely helpless and have no idea what the next steps are.

Are there any vitamins I should take? Sedatives? Etc.

P.S. The dope was okay. I'd smoked a lot of it before and there was never anything like that.

I would really appreciate some help and advice and hope someone knows what's going on in my head.

Best regards

I would recommend the search advice as the next point of contact so that you can get off the cannabis as soon as possible. You might be the first to talk to your home doctor.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who don’t use cannabis – and you and I probably count on it. With me, it has significantly negatively influenced the course of my schizophrenia for years – and what it does with you, you write well above.

I haven’t touched it for almost two decades – and you can get rid of it!

Medical problems means you should go to the doctor.

And stop ciffing or at least spend a long time does not harm

Yes, it is not unusual that cannabis triggers violent panic attacks, and can also trigger neurosis
Forced thoughts and other very negative things.

This is difficult when this is triggered once it is difficult to get away again. I think there’s almost a therapy.
I wouldn’t go crazy now, but just wait to see how it’s in the next time, but I’d really advise you very much again.

…the panic attacks are probably a long-term appearance (psychosis!)

The i n z ig is correct, immediately stop ciffing, otherwise land

you still in the psychiatry

How about stopping the ciff instead of thinking about calming tablets?
