Package with laptop to Iran, is that possible?
Hello folks,
An interesting and difficult question.
A friend of mine lives in Tehran, Iran and I would like to send him a used but once expensive laptop so that he can work with it.
The laptop would fit into a package costing about 50 euros. These prices are reasonable.
However, I wonder whether customs still charges for this, or whether shipping electronics, especially expensive electronics, is prohibited. This is not very transparent at customs or on the Internet.
You have to check the import rules in Iran. This has nothing to do with the German customs.
Make yourself smart if you can send batteries (travel!). The rules often change.
With a battery it is dangerous and must not be sent with the mail.
It goes, but not with any company and often with quite terms and costs.
Didn't write that it wasn't at all, did it? It just doesn't work with the mail. For individuals, however, it is as good as impossible to officially send dangerous goods abroad.
All right.
The comment was for the questioner. I'd check this before the IR inch.
I'm not quite sure how the current situation is, but maybe this page could help you out here.

Very clear, thanks for the link. Unfortunately, you won't be smarter here in the specific point.
Export decision yes, but whether it is allowed in electronics and whether you have to pay for it is not there.
Alternatively, it is best to simply call in customs by phone or call by e-mail and the current problem or issue. explain the unclearness and what to pay attention.
