P account seizure allowance?
Hi,
This month I was over the tax-free allowance of 360 euros.
Now an attempt was made to debit 760 euros and this was logically returned by the bank, on the same day.
What will my tax allowance look like on February 1, 2023?
Does this failed direct debit have any impact? Thank you.
Basically, the 360 € will be blocked for you and returned to creditors if any deposits are on the account.
If the creditor re-enters the debit, you have to settle with him.
The February allowance has nothing to do with the debit or vice versa.
It was not a direct debit from the creditor but from an airline.
have I not had less allowance in February? Only the 360, because they should normally be released on February 1st, 2023 anyway. Thank you.
A creditor is basically someone who gets money from you.
I mean, if the debit is moved in again, you have to deal with the one who has to get the money.
The February allowance should be available to you normally.
However, it may be that the 360 € will be released again in February, thereby reducing the amount of the allowance.
However, this is not to be expected if you have at least €360 on your account.
You need to clarify details with the account-leading financial institution.
After my knowledge No. That doesn't make any sense.
The monthly individual allowance amount is generally reduced by payment receipts in the month concerned.
So I think your question is adequately answered and I agree.
Ok thought that in February, because of the debit of 760 euros, I had been failed or was, even less than a free allowance in February.
No.
So then only 360 euros are still locked?
Correct
