The needle threads only make straight stitches, but they should be connected to the loops.

Did the machine work or could it be a mechanical problem of the machine that existed from the beginning?

If you bought the machine from the dealer, just call it and tell the problem, often they can guess what the problem is.

Since the problem first appeared with the needle change, I would look for the mistake there. Did you use the right needle type? It must be type ELx705, not the normal sewing machine needle type 130/705H. Even though they have almost the same name, there are almost invisible but important differences. As it looks on the pictures, the thread of the lower gripper ( otherwise it does not have a stitch) but not the thread of the upper one. This is typical of either wrong needle type or not completely used needle. Or adjusted gripper timing, but hopefully this should not happen through a needle change.

Make sure it is a needle type ELx705 (and hopefully from a brand like pain or organ, Oberlocks are zigzag in terms of cheap needles with not 100% adhered tolerances) they are inserted right and right up (check both needles), and see if the thread for the left needle is properly threaded in.

Since it is the thread of the upper gripper, you can also see if the gripper correctly places the thread when sewing (mostly without a motor but a machine on the hand wheel slowly rotating – direction of rotation). Since it works with the right needle, you have a good comparison.

The gripper puts the thread from the fabric edge to the left, and the needles now go behind the gripper but down in front of the thread (see the right needle that works, then probably know what I mean is difficult to explain three-dimensionally). You may see where the gripper thread remains at the left needle, or what is in the way…

Important: when threading into the order, you must keep in the guide and, for example, make the needle threads always after the gripper threads – see, for example, in the instructions of the set that the needle threads are cut off during thread change in the gripper and are then rewrapped again… p. 33 )

Are you sure that the needle is properly inserted and is also pushed upwards in the holder?

Does the problem arise with different threads and different fabrics?

Are you sure the threads are all correctly in the respective thread tension?

You can already try to call the manufacturer’s service hotline. But I wouldn’t make great hopes that they can help.

The supplied needles should be at least OK – are the same that were in the machine when it was delivered and with which it worked so far.

Gifertimimg.. the ballet made of 2 needles and two grippers must of course fit exactly so everything works. This is precisely set to tenths of a millimeter. If now.. by transport or by changing the place, or the sausage finger or the wrong screw…. There’s something that has changed and the upper gripper is only half a millimeter out of the clock, then it’s a layer in the shaft.

If you can bring them back, the better. Next machine maybe buy at the sewing machine dealer. The few euros that are more expensive (sometimes because they don’t sell the floor set to cheap machines because they know that only complaints come out) you have to get out of the first problem of the kind… They could immediately see if it’s an operating error or an adjustment problem. And I guess this was fixed so soon after the purchase.
