Over the limit as a minor?

I'm 16 years old and would like to take a train trip to Paris with some friends because it's very close. I'd like to take the ICE, which arrives in Paris in three hours, but as a 16-year-old, can I just cross the border? How exactly does that work? And what about if I'm even younger?

1. You need your parents' consent. A written confirmation is helpful when crossing borders.

Two. Of course, you should have the right ticket and, if possible, personal papers.

3. If an overnight stay is planned, an adult person should be there. Minors without accommodation find no hotel room

try it in youth hostels, maybe take the minors.

I always presuppose the permission of parents

Every EU citizen has the right to move throughout the EU. The only ones who can forbid you from the trip are your parents because you are still underage and they therefore have the right to stay.

You take the passport / ID and go.
