Out into retail but how?
Hello folks,
I've been working in retail for five years now (three of which were training) and I just don't have the nerve for it anymore.
I'm going to quit as soon as possible, but I don't know what to do after that.
I would prefer to just do an office job, but most career changer jobs don't sound that exciting.
Almost everywhere it's just sales and I've heard a lot of bad things about it.
Is it possible to retrain, or what would be a good option? Where can I find good jobs? (Personally, I don't think Stepstone, etc., are a good fit.)
I’m telling you honestly, don’t get in so much, it’s not as if your whole life was dependent on a job. If you quit, make it short and painless, you better forget your old job as soon as possible and find out what makes you fun. If you haven’t found your perfect job, just do internships wherever you like. Can you sniff in the distribution to see if it’s for you, maybe it’s something for you. You’re looking for something else. Bite openness in such things is good, trust.
To your question where you can find good jobs and companies: Xing
I also use myself and am actually happy with it.
Personally, I’ve always been looking for Stepstone, but also used my private network. At the time as I say today, make it easy! And because I also work in the network, I can only give you the tip: don’t listen to people who didn’t try it first and secondly, just because it’s nix for them, it can be something for you! Just because Goofi says from the net, that’s stupid, real, so also work on Mindset. And if you’re out of trade, you can look for another two years.
Good luck!
I don’t think your search method is good. There is inconceivable much with commercial training.
In the search engine of the job market of the job agency simply enter “Kaufmann” as a keyword.
Example: The police in Hamburg often searches for cross-comers for the administration or “help police” in the strip service. Prerequisite: Some commercial training.
What I want to say: more flexible looking, popping up so much you would never come to.
Do a study BWL, know you with sales. Then the chances are better to earn good money.
