Was sind so deine Lieblingswörter die die Österreicher in ihrem Wortschaft haben?
Ich hab schon des öfteren gehört das wir echt ein paar liabe Wörter haben wie:
- Baba
- Verkutzen
- Pritscheln
- Tschopperl
- Joperl
- …
Und ein paar Wörter die sich viel schöner als im deutschen anhören:
- Melanzani
- Marille
- Paradeiser
- Sackerl
- Hendel
- …
Was san so deine Favoriten?
Will only say that many of the terms mentioned here are exclusively in East Austria or Especially in Vienna.
In some cases, people in the western or southern federal states would not be happy if Wienerische Begriff as Austria were widely accepted 🤔😅💀.
Because we Vienna are very unpopular in the rest of Austria…
(bin Wiener 😂)
Och I am not
And as typical as well as understood san but garnet falling
Naja… but 😂 hakln for example
“Hardigatti” in the Tyrolean dialect for “damaged”
That’s true.
Now who’s been posted
Yes but Austria consists of net only Wien, tirol and vorarlberg
In Tyrol and Vorarlberg, ma says more to create …
What are you saying?
Well, it’s like that, please.
Hacking says everyone
Maybe someone here could get the language 😂 with me wanted Austrians to order beer, had to ask 7 times because they didn’t understand even though I could identify the language as almost German 😂 don’t know what’s nuts but I’m sure that the beer wanted because in the end on the pottery I had shown something with Zeidel said, had really sounded like a secret language 😅😂 in the deepest chance to understand this
A seidel?
This is a 33er beer
Ah yes can be 😅 that has just been interesting, Seidel also sounds more casual than litre (?) or glass (?)
😂👌🏻 Legend
Viennese meckern
And the roughness of them is bad
And insulting people belongs to good ton
Then come in the pott rin there whited what meckern is 😂😂, on the other hand, it was polite even if there were plenty of taste among others about our Schnitzel😂 over the room the cutlery, the foreign language skills (there could not even be English or who want us to be embarrassed…) simply were not, but politely so have tried to explain to me 7 times what you want 😂😂😂
Silk is said to be in the room
The cannons quite mauln and ne beautiful speech is Wienerisch net
😂😂 Ah il
Well, we had hotel prices 😂 there all wanted the little one. What I have to say that even that has been kindly sounded more polite I never think so nicely cherished why I don’t understand 😅
This is a beer with 330ml
Because a normal beer has 500ml in Austria
January for “January” and paradeiser for “tomatoes” I find beautiful. I also like that in Austrian recipes quantities are always given as decagrams. I also find Baba nice to say goodbye, although this is rather a new expression… in the 50s taken over by the GIs and Bye-Bye.
“Hardigatti” = Damn in the Tyrolean dialect 🙂
I find that an interesting question, because it wouldn’t come to my mind that you can have favorite words. Sounds like children’s language or a hundred years old home novel.
But if I had to choose something, then probably Kaiserschmarrn
Kaiserschmarn is a court and no dialect word or a word from the Austrian
.
And how do you get into child language?
Kaiserschmarrn comes from Austria, so it is an Austrian word
What is this for an imperial
And what’s that?
.
That’s something else
Do you know?
Yes but that has nothing to do with the imperial
But you know what meaning the word “smart” still has?
🙂
It is a court and how do the Germans say the one to be imperial?
Royal broken with ice snow and raw pancakes?
A German-Austrian couple I know is about Tegerln.
Ok but it’s about some vocabulary
That seems to be a vocabulary 🤔
Tegerln is obviously the plural of Tegerl.
It comes from crucible. https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiegel_(Gef%C3%A4%C3%9F)
Tegerl
But tegerln net
.
Ne that is no flat vessel that would be more a bowl
A tegerl is more to call a somewhat leprosy variant a vessel
A Tegerl, as the explanation, is his flat vessel.
https://www.ostarrichi.org/wort/6855/Tegerl
I don’t know
I’ve gagled this is supposed to be in bayern
June-Krampus (or in the case of Mai-Krampus) – expression for an ugly person
hacking
White of course what it means, but we do not actually use in the Bairian.
I’m sure there’s some other ones, but they don’t catch me now.
The problem is that many, just as you obviously resemble Viennese with all other Austrian dialects. In the vast majority of federal states away from Vienna, the term is hardly used.
But yes, an Austrian dialect term.
Hacking says everyone knows
😂😂 Alright
Yes native Austria
And I’m interested in such things
.
And I red devinitiv net like a lanscherl or a wiener
Are you Austrian? 😂 So because of your question, I would have thought you were German
no single word, but a phrase: something goes out (not)!
a North German colleague told me that there is no one up there!
They shrive to feel up there but san da tactical
even if one does not appreciate the resources in question, it is possible to get to the conclusion that this is going out or not! just how do they express this situation with the same elegance and in the same concise shortness? [WAUN soi des fertich is] Murgn?
Naja a ghiter would be the other then a net
then you better negotiate!
But I am paid net, rather on the contrary
well, your offered service: emptying barrels and bottles… 😉
Ne I was there to make holiday or baptize 😅
Ster or trouble that: craftsmen draw from court to court and offer their services that they then provide on site.
?
are you on the stall?
I was in münchen, augsburg, nürnberg, burghausen, traunstein, passau
of course depends on what part of Bavaria! ifsd is from Minga: there are almost only Isar Prussia!
We still talk net equal
Otherwise I wouldn’t have any communication problems on holiday 😅
Austrian are – apart from the Alemannian – Bairian dialects (South Bairian, East Central Bairian/Donaubairish…)
and: nua ned hudln! weu ma waas eh, where vum Hudln becomes: schiache Kinda!
ach yes: schiach – a word that already carries its meaning in the sound.
Des segn kenn i more from the Bavarian
look ma moi, where ma segn! is also such a phrase…
