Origin 'online registration not possible' please help?

I've been playing Sims on my MacBook for at least five years. I haven't been able to log into Origin for several days. It says 'online login not possible,' even though I have the internet on, and it worked before. I've deleted Origin, done a system update, and nothing helps. Can anyone help me? (Please explain for the faint of heart, I'm really stupid when it comes to technology.) Thanks in advance! Best, Laura

You can easily access everything else?
Talk internet in the browser, other programs that require internet.

If so, please restart the router and your MacBook.

Is there a certain error message when logged in?

If everything does not help, write EA’s support.
