Well, you’re legally obliged to report this fact to Amazon, as your purchase contract was “only” closed via a case. Whether Amazon then asks for the release – or simply writes the PC – is their thing.
Here’s a comment from the RA Solmecke:

Well, often completely pc’s are packed in the case boxes. Because they always have the right size, and they have the box anyway. I assume that something has been swapped in a return and a returned pc has simply been put to the housings.

Well, a righteous citizen would report it and send it back. It would be tempting to keep the ding easy and just wait and see if amazon reports again… Because I don’t assume that you’ll be traced back to you later.

I’ve done this before (at Amazon called), the employee at the hotline told me to keep the (more important) laptop. 🤣🤣🤣 I would have done if he had not had a French keyboard.

Most returns at amazon land anyway in waste incineration.

I assume it’s a return. So that one got the one and sent back after a few days.

Returns are still regarded as new goods under German law.

Could of course be completely unused. Or, for example, the address was wrong and the mail sent him back to the sender.

However, new PCs usually have any padding inside to stabilize the graphics card, etc. It is no longer present. I therefore think retour.

The company that has assembled the pc doesn’t matter.

You should contact amazon because they sent him wrong.

Well, as I said, I’d probably keep him, and if amazon reports in a month or so, that’s not what it takes.
Then the computer goes to Jeff’s neck.

Of course, it would have to be reported to amazon.

Joa.

So, sell it or I wouldn’t fall because if they wanted it back then it’s bad.

Either call there and ask if they want it back and then send it back, or keep it first.

Yes, just send him back and order the case somewhere else.

And why would he do that?

Because it’s just uncorrect to keep a case sit much less worth it. I’ll print it like this in 90 percent of the cases are Amazon’s PC’s junk pile.

So I see a motherboard, a Nvidia RTX graphics card, a CPU cooler(probably with a CPU under it) and 2 sticks RAM…

interesting… what you don’t see when you’re closed in a foil and PU foam packaged housing, and that’s especially from a slanted front without looking at the inside or the back

easy to see the Geforce RTX labeling shimmer. Could also be an attrape.

If all this is real, I wish him a lot of fun with it and, of course, a wish for luck.

Yeah, the case has a window. I can look through the window and see the inside.
