Oral final examination for office management clerk report variant procedure?
Hello everyone,
Has anyone already completed their training as a business administrator for office management and has experience with the oral final examination in the report version?
I had to prepare two reports beforehand in the elective qualifications of purchasing and logistics and event management.
I honestly have no idea how to prepare or what kind of questions the examiners might ask.
Does anyone have any experience/tips and can help me?
Thanks so much!!
I was on the topic of purchasing and logistics and wrote my report about our company here.
Then I was asked questions that were relevant to my text. (For example, I explained that I handle online orders, and then I was asked something about the order rhythm system.)
You can also direct your conversations to the topics you know
I panicked way too much and actually it wasn't that bad
Many thanks for your response.
Can I ask how exactly you prepared? I'm totally nervous and can't imagine what I'll be asked.
I have written my report about ordering stretch film for safe transport.
Well, I didn't really prepare myself that much. Unfortunately…
I read through my written report several times, and my sister asked me a few questions about it. But what's really important are the topics you learned in school and that you talk a lot (even if not all of it is true).
Considering that I prepared very little, I got a 2, so it should all be doable
Hey, I also had the report version. Also on the topic of purchasing and logistics: Price request: Entering special items for a customer. I wrote a lot here, and they also asked a lot of questions.
In my report, I stated that we are the market leader among electrical wholesalers. They also asked what a market leader means and what kind of products we sell as an electrical wholesaler. They then asked about discount groups (loyalty discounts, special discounts), what we do if the manufacturer isn't listed, whether there's an alternative, what a cash discount is, and whether it's worthwhile or not.
If you've written your report, I would study it very carefully. They could ask questions about every word you've written, and you should be able to answer them.
I have the report exam in five days and haven't done much for it. I'll do my best to study until then. Is it definitely possible to pass the exam?
Yes, definitely. I mean, you know in advance what the test will be. You can prepare for it.
