Open Steam games on a second device?
Hello, I recently got a tablet and would like to be able to play games on it via Steam. I've installed Steam, logged into my account, and see the games in my library, but I can't open them. All the information in support says I have to download the games again? Is that correct? If so, how do I do that? Another suggestion is to activate the game, but I can't do that.
I've synced my game scores to the cloud; how do I use them to continue playing?

Yeah, that’s correct.
You have now installed Steam on your tablet, but not yet a game of it.
Like on your first device:
Click on the desired game in the library, then the window appears on the right, where you also see the large green button “INSTALLIEREN”.
Then click on it and Steam will load the game on your tablet.
Simply install and start the game.
If this game finds a game stand in the cloud, it automatically uses it. You don’t have to do anything.
Note: not all games support the cloud, from which you need to manually copy the game stand (e.g. via USB stick) from one device to the other.
In addition, tablets of my experience are bad for Steam games, only a few run reasonable. So don’t hope too much.
On nem Android or Apple tablet you can’t play Steam games like this.
On a Windows tablet, you need to download the games again to play them.
