The identification of a natural person can be done by submitting a valid identity card or passport. If the identification data is determined on the basis of a passport, the address data shall also be reported.

No, there are unambiguously defined documents for a legitimation and nothing of you is part of it.

Hello,

If you are still minor, parents can open accounts for you against submitting your birth certificate and their valid statements.

Otherwise, an account opening also went with passport.

Best regards

No. You need a valid legitimation document and this is only an ID card and passport in Germany (only for babies and toddlers can be accepted for savings accounts).

In Austria, the Austrian driving licence is added to the list. (and generally still residence title if paragraph “Passersatz” is noted)

Health insurance card, registration certificate etc. are not accepted
