(OP) Pie Crusting – Mpfl release?

Hello,

I had an MPFL reconstruction that was too tight. Now I want to release it with pie crusting. Does anyone have experience with how this works or know about the pie crusting technique and/or release surgeries for MPFL reconstruction?

When removing… Do you simply take out the artificial mpfl and it's the same as before?

Thank you for the answer!

Hello,

I do not know from where you come from or are medded, but the “Pie-crusting technique” is a relative healthy and harmless form.

Happy you!

Quote: “The mean age was 29.43 years (range, 14-49 years), and the mean increase in the medial joint space width was 3.21 mm (range, 2-5 mm) with pie crusting. At 6 months, the average Lysholm score was 93 (range, 67-100) and the average visual analog scale score was 0.8 (range, 0-4).”
You didn’t say age. Would I guess I’d have to go out of the GJ 1992? All necessary information, you can calculate yourself here.
