One chee and one not chee, is that possible?

I have an important question and ask for advice
I'm 17 years old and converted to Islam a year ago. A few months ago, I met a boy who is Chee. We both fell in love, but he's afraid that if he marries me in an Islamic ceremony, his family will disown him because I'm Austrian and not Chee. What do you think it will be like? What's the best way for us to be accepted and respected? What should I do?

In principle, it doesn’t matter what religion someone has or where he comes from. Austrians are quite open.
