Does the oil warning light on the moped only light up when moving?
Hello,
I recently bought my first moped, a Beeline Memory 2-stroke.
After about 3 weeks of driving, the oil light started going on and off this morning.
I experimented a bit and found that the light only lights up when the moped is moving (wobbling, braking & slight bumps on the ground).
When accelerating, however,
I didn't drive exemplary today but still drove 18km to work and back – without any problems
The tank was half full in the morning, I filled it up on the way back home and of course mixed it with 1:50 oil
What could be causing this and should I be concerned?
what should display the oil lamp if not 2T oil. The gear has no sensor
Doesn’t he have a separate oil tank? This is quite common today. It should be empty slowly and if the oil floats back and forth in some situations, the yellow fill level indicator indicates and says that you need to refill two-stroke oil.
If the severing has, you don’t have to refuel a mixture.
You have a seprate oil tank and you’re still riding with a mixture? Doesn’t that sound like? But after an electronics problem, this sounds like wobble contact.
I don’t know where to have one seperate oil tank, I know that the Memory Classic has, but at the normal memory I would have thought that mixture was fried
Then why the oil lamp? The DIng has only gear oil and there’s nothing monitored.
Hmm, I can’t tell you. But I can’t watch an oil tank. Something like that is usually under the bench, right? Because I only have petrol tanks
