the wedge frame and canvas cartons purchased in the load are already pretreated with spoo. You can start right away.

when preparing myself canvas I have made good experience with nesseltuch. pretreated and glued to carton or wood, it is then mixed with a ponal, little water and titanium white acrylic paint. consistency like pancake dough.

let it dry once and then again prime.

then let thoroughly dry 2 – 3 days before use.

So, in my knowledge, you can treat the canvas as much as you make it for acrylic paint (when you make it for acrylic at all) but look for a good look at it, but also oil paint.

And little tip that is the first time you work with oil color 😅 do this in a nem room you do not use daily, because oil color has a little unpleasant smell that likes to stay a little longer.😶

I didn’t really work with acrylic… 😬

but in your question you write:

How to prime Oil colours the screen

You don’t seem to know what you’re painting with.

Yes in acrylic it is not so important now to prime that 😁 you can do but you do not have to.

I don’t work with them so often, and the yellow also belong to oil paint 😌, but it happens that I do something like that.

Then I wish you a lot of success

Ah sorry had somehow read the last sentence you had written 🙈

Maybe he had always used oil paint and noticed the primer was not a sleepy idea 😅 after all you never learn and improve always goes.

Yes, that was related to my statement, so, in my knowledge, you can treat the canvas just as you do it for acrylic” because I thought that he would normally work with acrylic and now use the first oil color 🤷 was speculation on my part.

Hi.

this primer is applied with a large brush.

https://www.gerstaecker.de/schmincke-gesso.html?channable=00c1b069640033323635342c&variant=32654&gad_source=1

Manual

Apply the Gesso with a brush with horizontal lines to the canvas and distribute it evenly from left to right and back.

Let it dry thoroughly. Once the Gesso is dry, you can start painting after at least one hour, but it is better if you let it go overnight.

Although your demand has not been addressed, forget the most helpful award?

Can I use normal white acrylic paint instead of Gesso?

I’m just as far as I was

Perhaps, ask @pony, this is helpful for you:)
