OLED or IPS monitor?

Hello.

The following is done with the monitor:

80% gaming, 20% working (office etc.).

Would a large 34" Nano-IPS curved monitor or a 27" OLED screen be better for this?

Many say that OLED is the ultimate and they don’t want to miss it anymore.

However, OLED screens are also significantly more expensive.

Now I've found two LG monitors on Amazon. They even cost the same.

The LG 27" OLED (the brightness should be sufficient): https://amzn.eu/d/0gwpg6dd

The LG 34" Nano-IPS: https://amzn.eu/d/05zxfmiM

I also found a 34" OLED from Samsung. It costs €745, but it's still manageable: https://amzn.eu/d/0gzypadg

The Samsung monitor is also a separate computer. It has all the features of a smart TV. I don't really need it.

Now I can't decide. What would you do? I currently have a 27" IPS monitor from LG.

Fan is better natural. I cannot recommend Samsung in person. The pfuschen quite nice with their monitors in the lower and middle price class

it’s about the chipsets, not the panel. The chips are now getting hotter in monitors of size. Oled pc monitore also exists forever. I use many monitors. Lenovo, Apple and some old Samsung with self-built cooling. (because always the same defect).

Oled’s been there forever. A TV is much larger and accordingly has larger radiators. Exactly there is Samsung, uncooled chips that will burn you through after a few years. Repair devices of all kinds for many years. Samsung are the worst criminals for monitors regarding planned wear. Recommend Lenovo and LG.

I would never buy anything other than OLED.

So 27 inches would be too small, but I would always prefer LG Samsung at OLEDS. I just find W-OLED better than QD-OLED. By the way, I use a 42 inch C3 TV as a monitor. Absolutely perfect for me.

And that’s where you’re staying under $1,000. However, 42 inches are too large.
