Oil dipstick and on-board computer display defective?

Hello,

Whenever I get into my Peugeot 206 CC and turn on the ignition, the onboard computer always shows excess oil. Whether the engine is cold or warm. The car is always parked upright and has been parked for at least 15 minutes.

The problem with my oil dipstick is:

-Sometimes it shows more oil on one side of the dipstick and less on the other side

-The dipstick sometimes shows a higher level and sometimes a lower level. (On both sides)

-Sometimes a few traces of oil on my dipstick even reach as high as the bulges. I hope you understand what I mean. (Often only on one side)

But the dipstick always reads below the maximum level, even if it's just a little bit. But the onboard computer always shows excess oil.

Is my oil dipstick broken and is the electronics acting up? What do you think? What should I trust? Have you ever had similar problems with the onboard computer or the oil dipstick?

Switch the oil scale and see what the onboard computer says.

You better go to the number safe and don't risk a motor damage due to the Micy Measuring Rod.

Too much oil is bad and too little oil too.
