Keep your ears dry while swimming?
Hello, I've had ear infections several times in the last six months (I've never had them before). Everything's OK now, though. I'd like to take a swimming lesson. Does anyone have any tips on how I can protect my ears from getting wet? I can't hear very well with regular earplugs or a swimming cap, which is a problem during a swimming lesson. Can anyone recommend something else?
Without an earplug, unfortunately, this is as good as impossible…
But there are also those who are not out of this soft stuff, but simply “separate” those who were made extra for swimmers, so you hear well.
Otherwise, just go to the doctor… maybe you can go back to the water or just don’t… then you either wait a few weeks or get meds.
I hope I could at least help a bit 🙂
Did you float in normal clean water? If you dry your ears well after swimming, something should happen only rarely. I only get ear infections when I swim in public waters. So seen, rivers.. Beach is clear.
