Depends on what animals and what distance you have.

But I would recommend you to the EF-S 55-250mm STM Kitzoom, which has a built-in stabilizer. With your mentioned objective, you do not have it and it can only be used in good light conditions without a tripod.

Yes, it is, otherwise I wouldn’t have proposed it to you.

Hello

the 4000D is not a good camera for action motifs. Canon damages the autofocus power of the 1000s to have enough distance to the 100s series.

The 4000D also comes with a lame 18-55 DC Kit bucket

For stuffed animals or animals, EF 75-300 is immersed in cages or typical seating photography on a nest/bird bath/coaster. For animals in motion you need an EF 75-300 USM

EOS 4000D Housing + EF-S 18-55mm III + EF 75-300mm III cost zZ New from 699€ or in Canon Store is available at 1150€

For 700€ you can buy used

EOS 5DIII

EF 28-105/3.5-4.5 USM II

EF 100-300/4.5-5.6 USM

for 1150€ you can buy used

EOS 5DIII

EF 28-105/3.5-4.5 USM II

EF 100-400/4.5-5.6L IS USM

Yeah, well, there’s always better, but that’s what you have to do. Depending on what kind of animal you want to photograph from what distance, I would personally recommend to a larger focal length. But I’m far from an expert.
