If you have not explicitly booked a lying or sleeping car, then the seat car. You should have a reserved place for him. Is there something on your map? However, if you want to, and if you are still free, you can also deposit on sun beds or sleeping cars (if you want to go in advance as well as on the train – if anything is still free). Costs from approx. 20€ extra (for the cheapest berth). If the train is full in the car seat, it probably pays off because you simply sleep better;-)

“Comfort ticket” is simply the name for a non-reduced ticket at Nightjet, so for the normal price. Whether you are allowed to use your tickets, the caravan or the sleeping car depends on which category you have booked. A reservation is automatically connected in the Nightjet.
