NVIDIA 1050TI throttles at 75 degrees?

Hello folks,

Recently, the graphics card on my XPS laptop has been throttling drastically when it reaches 75 degrees Celsius. It never gets warmer than 75 degrees Celsius?! I'm sure it used to be 80 degrees Celsius or higher.

Since I don't play much, it could have been like this for a year or two… maybe a BIOS update?

Does anyone have an idea where/how I can change the throttle settings?

BIOS update usually does not just happen so alone.

You could see if it gets better when you clean the laptop(open and remove dust or blow it out in general)

Optionally for better cooling, you could also lower something or buy a laptop stand so that the laptop is slightly inclined and more space between laptop and table is so that it can suck more and more air. Laptop stands with extra fans don’t necessarily bring what, there is also a “normal” or for testing also a book or similar that you put under the rear edge.

Cooling system translated as not clean

And nen BIOS update is not simply installed SO, THAT would notice

How do the CPU temps look?

Otherwise open, clean, renew heatsink down heat-conducting paste. If necessary the thermal pads too. That’s all.

Same for CPU u GPU
