NTFS support for macOS with which extension?

I need NTFS support on my Macs and am currently looking for suitable third-party solutions. Currently, NTFS for Mac from Paragon and the product of the same name from EaseUS are on my shortlist.

I'm familiar with both software manufacturers, but I'm still getting opinions from other Mac users first. So my question to you: Based on your own experience, which software would you recommend so I can read and write to NTFS-formatted hard drives under MacOS?

I'm currently running macOS BigSur and Ventura on Intel-based Macs, as well as an M1 MacBook Pro with Monterey (still being updated to Ventura). So, it would be great if you could give me some advice on NTFS and software solutions. Especially, whether switching to exFAT might be worthwhile.
