Hello, I wrote a short story at school and my teacher said that I could send it to a publisher and it would definitely be published.
I've just looked it up and found novum Verlag. My question is, can I submit a short story there, and is it safe? Does anyone know anything about it and can give me more information? Thanks!

The Novum-Verlag is a so-called pressure cost grant publisher. If you should publish your story (which is not very likely in a short story), you must pay for it.
Maybe you should look for anthologies, maybe your story fits in.

A reputable publisher never asks for a certain amount to be used for printing costs or for a certain number of copies to be taken off. But a reputable publisher does not accept any unknown authors – at least in the field of fiction it is inconceivable difficult to grasp as an unknown person.
