That’s dangerous! Imagine your parents. They’re supposed to call the poison emergency call center and get advice… Number is found on the Internet.

Yes, that can even become quite dangerous to take so many at once. Usually you should not have more than 1000 mg (i.e. 2 tablets) once and you have taken 4,500 mg.

In general, novalgin should only be taken if this was also arranged medically. Heavy, life-threatening blood-image disorders are possible (Agranulozytose), so that a medical use-risk balance should be performed before novalgin is taken.

In the context of acute overdoses, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, a restriction of kidney function/acute renal failure (e.g. under the image of interstitial nephritis) and – more rare – central nervous symptoms (skin, somnolence, coma, cramps) and blood pressure drop to shock and tachycardia are possible.

With regard to the procedure for overdose, it is stated in the specialist information:

If the intake of metamizol is only short, attempts can be made to limit the intake into the body by measures of primary detoxification such as gastric flushing or absorption-reducing measures (e.g. activated carbon).

The treatment of poisoning, as well as the prevention of serious complications, may require general and special intensive medical surveillance and treatment.

Any measures would have to be carried out medically.

The manufacturer of Novalgin immediately recommends a kind of communication when overdosed.

In overdose, nausea, pig field and cramps can occur to the coma.

Put your finger in your mouth and squeeze it out.
