Norwegen Roadtrip Fahrzeug?

When I was the first time in Norway at the beginning of the 1970s, this was partly true with the streets and yet a normal car was completely enough. In the meantime, the roads up to the North Cape have been very well developed, as Norway has become a rather rich country by the oil deposits. Allrad is only necessary in winter. In this respect, you can take any car you want to fit.

I don’t know what you’ve got to do with Scandinavia. But in Norway the roads are much better than in Germany. There are occasionally gravel roads in Sweden, but I have never used Allrad.

In both countries, normal cars are well maintained.

Already in the 1980s I was on the North Cape with a very normal PW without Allrad. It doesn’t need an all-wheel.

Exception, in winter it looks different. An all-wheel would be convenient, better still a ripening with spikes. In winter, the Norwegians use virtually all spikes, this also with two-wheeled vehicles.

I’m planning on the subaru outback. In contrast to the Forester(lightly oblique) it has a flat loading area with a folded-over bench. And the Allrad is really good.

You’re driving alone? You want to spend little money and sleep in the car? Then I’d take a look at the station wagons. You’ve got enough room to sleep in the back of the larger combination.

Last year I made a road trip around the Baltic Sea by Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and back to Germany. The roads are mostly super in shot, even at the top of the Nordkapp. All this was super easy, when we bought an Audi A6 Avant as a disel, was the perfect vehicle for the tour, neat storage, little consumption, technically unproblematic and convenience.

Toyota RAV4 Third series. All about the 150hp diesel. The 177 goes super forward, but is too thirsty. Or a Subaru Forester or Outback

It depends, of course, on the season and where exactly it suits you, but most roads in both countries are easily accessible by the camper. There are no increased requirements for a car.

This is what you take on such a car and on such a trip – like two spare wheels and gasoline canister – of course with
