Normal?

Good evening everyone,

following question

Is it normal that some things sometimes “reflect” or that you see things twice?

For example, in a car, when the text on the display is white and the background is black, I see the text underneath it, like a shadow. According to my optician and doctor, my eyes are actually okay.

This can be related to the thickness of the glass in front of the display. A part of the light that radiates the display is reflected back on the inside of this glass and reflected back to the 2nd time on the inner side, which is in turn opposite, in order to then return to your direction. Depending on the viewing angle, the offset can occur. Let’s see which direction the 2nd picture is moving. This would have to change depending on the viewing angle.

A similar effect can also be observed on double or multiple glazed windows.

Can be normal.

Look! Adjust the thing from different angles and change the lighting. uU is mirrored by a thick glass of the floor etc.
