Is nominal GDP a suitable measure of economic performance? Since it creates a quantity and price effect. It's obviously not suitable for measuring a society's welfare, but I'm not sure whether it's still a suitable measure of economic performance.

Loading...Since Corona, all prices have increased, but beer prices have hardly increased. All food products have become more expensive, other goods have been hit by inflation, but beer only seems to have become slightly more expensive after Ukraine (2022). Am I wrong? Das BIP an sich ist ein guter Indikator zum Vergleich der wirtschaftlichen Leistungsfähigkeit (Historisch und International) Das BIP hat oft einen positiven Zusammenhang mit anderen Indikatoren wie z.B. der Lebenserwartung etc.
Das reale BIP wäre aber der bessere Indikator wenn man Preiseffekte raus haben will
