Still too young?

Hi, I have a Djungarian hamster (8 weeks old) and he doesn't know how to get the kernel out of a sunflower seed. I've seen him trying to open it 3-4 times. And I'm wondering if he doesn't like sunflower seeds or if he's still too young to understand. Or what's the problem? I need some advice.

Best regards

He’ll learn this, too, is a good job.

At some point he will make it and otherwise it is not so bad, there are other (also healthier) snacks than sunflower seeds.

I also had one to learn that with the time. sunflower seeds are in order for a jungle, but do not give it too many of them on the day.

different, really perfect was mine only after approx. 1 year, but he actually eaten quite everything, even when he was even smaller. give him the core without a bowl if you like to give him something out of the hand. he’ll be happy and realizes that he’ll never have to crack them with you when he gets them out of his hand.
