No network after inserting the SIM card?
I have now bought a new iPhone 14 including a SIM card from freenet, but I have no network even though the SIM card is in it. It also said on a piece of paper that came with the SIM card that it is possible that you have no network after inserting the card. To fix this, you would have to turn the phone off and on again after 2-4 hours, but 6 hours have passed and I still have no network. Does anyone know anything about this?
Yes, Freenet knows best in your case.
I think it’s just going to take longer than the 4 hours to show. Try it again tomorrow and otherwise call freenet (or go by personally).
In your case, I would simply insert the SIM card again and check if it was inserted correctly. And then I’d just wait until tomorrow and report to them only if it doesn’t work.
Last but not least, I got a data SIM for my Jaguar, which has an insert for SIMs and the type of Deutsche Telekom meant, it goes in an hour but it went to the next day! It may also be due to the fact that the wrong network is selected in the settings or you simply call the provider and ask!
Try the SIM card in another smartphone, whether it is found directly. If ever, you should check the settings on the iPhone again and possibly adjust them.
If no network is found in another phone, it might be that the Sim is not active yet. Then only Freenet can help.
