Your answer to the question: where does the other end of the network cable go exactly? indicates that your network cable does not go directly to the router and, for example, a PowerLan or WLAN repeater hangs in between. And DA you need to start your troubleshooting.

If I look at the requests and your answers, I would suspect a defect in the network card in your computer. To exclude a faulty connection on the router, you can tap the network cable there to another LAN connection and see if a connection is made. If not, I would get a different network card (it also gives it externally as a USB variant, so don’t have to make) maybe even for a first time to test whether it was.
