No connection despite internet?

Hello, I have the following problem:

I can't browse the internet in Chrome. Services like YouTube, email, and WhatsApp Web work fine, but whenever I search for something new, I get the following error message:

You should be very skeptical now. It looks like there's something in your connection.

call google.de again and when the error page comes, you click on the setting icon in the address line to the left next to the URL and then on "Connection is safe" and then on "Certificate is invalid." That should then show you more information about the certificate. Post a screenshot.

Have you set a proxy server in Chrome?

This is a certificate error. In short, the certificate shows what your browser calls a different name than it expects. Because it's google in your case, it's weird.

If you use VPN, turn it off.

To rule out that there are DNS errors, open up with Windows button + R the run window -> type cmd -> and enter into the following console command: ipconfig /flushdns

In addition, you could try it in incognito mode to exclude any browser extensions etc. Simply press Ctrl + Shift + N.

We'll see you later.

But since it's google in your case, it's already strange .

Not really.
Strictly speaking, it is even a typical symptom if you use outdated browser(versions).
Be the first to keep the browser up to date.

this is definitely not the error here, because the message is causing the name in the certificate and not the missing or expired CA certificate.

Chrome updates itself.

Yes nothing will be set. Provided it's his own computer at home.

Not necessarily depends on what is set in the group guidelines in Windows.

Never go out of activated automation.
Without a version check, it makes "Nix" somehow more to think.

Make sure the date and time on your device are set correctly. A wrong date can lead to certificate errors.

Old cache data and cookies can cause problems. Try to delete the cache and cookies in Chrome.

temporarily deactivate all browser extensions to see if one of them causes the problem.
