Nio lifetime warranty?
I've been interested in electric cars for a while. A Tesla, for example, has an eight-year warranty. So I looked up the warranty for a Mio on the Nio website.
“Lifelong free quality assurance
No time or mileage limit”
What does that mean? A lifetime warranty on everything? A lifetime warranty on battery capacity?
I think it's going to be on everything except wear parts. But that must be held somewhere, there must be documents. No manufacturer guarantees life time on battery.
Brakes and tires are not included.
In addition, you can buy at Nio sciedene service packagee which then contain the maintenance and the associated material. Also included in the collection and return of customer service of the car.
In the case of tires and the service pack, Nio comes to you, checks and repairs cost. You have to pay for new tires.
Nio uses alternating batteries which are exchanged in the changing station. This is what you call the Empty battery and get a new one that is charged over 90%. In the first generation, the battery change gets about 7 minutes and in the 2nd generation about 5 to 6 minutes and you do not need to get out of the car once. Thus, the question of the life of the battery does not have the meaning of other manufacturers. You rent the battery or you buy the battery.
